Ich habe mich dann letztendlich für "Emmas Chatroom" entschieden, da ich mir die ganze letzte Woche die ganze Staffel reingezogen habe und ich dass sonst nie machen würde :D Ich muss euch jetzt mal gestehen, dass ich total begeistert von so Kinderserien wie the Sleepover Club, Emmas Chatroom, Dance Academy, H2O - Plötzlich Meerjungfrau, die Pfefferkörner, Blue Water High oder Schloss Einstein, dass sind einfach so Serien, die ich mir total gerne anschaue und die ich mir auch immer wieder anschauen kann, ich weiß nicht wieso ;) Ich glaube, dass es damit was zu tun hat, dass sie mich total an meine Kindheit erinnern und ich früher solche Clubs, magische Fähigkeiten oder beste Freundschaften total cool fand und ich das für Kinder heute auch noch ziemlich cool finde. Vor allem, da viele beste Freundschaften heute nicht mehr das sind, was sie einmal waren und das finde ich so toll.

Kurzbeschreibung:
Nach einem intensiven und aufregenden Jahr an der internationalen Schule Singapur, müssen sich die Freundinnen Emma, Ally und Jackie voneinander verabschieden: Emmas Familie wird zurück nach Hamburg versetzt und Ally kehrt zurück auf die Pferdefarm ihrer Familie nahe Sydney, Australien. Um ihnen den Abschied und die künftige Kommunikation zu erleichtern, bekommen die drei Freundinnen ein besonderes Geschenk von Josh, Jackies Bruder: einen eigens für sie programmierten Chatroom. Kaum in Hamburg und Sydney angekommen, schmeißen Emma und Ally ihre Computer und Handys an, doch die Überraschung und das Entsetzen ist groß, als sich plötzlich alle drei Freundinnen leibhaftig gegenüberstehen; in einem undefinierbaren Raum, irgendwo im Cyberspace... . In die erste Ungläubigkeit und Panik mischt sich schnell Freude über das problemlose Wiedersehen. Und zu ihrer großen Überraschung stellen Emma, Jackie und Ally bald fest, dass sie über ihren Chatroom jederzeit auch in Hamburg, Singapur und Sydney auftauchen können. Das eröffnet ungeahnte Perspektiven und vor allem die Möglichkeit, ihre Freundschaft ausleben und wieder gemeinsame Tanzprojekte verwirklichen zu können. Kann man sich für drei 14-jährige Mädchen etwas Großartigeres vorstellen.
Meine Meinung:
Wie ihr ja jetzt bereits wisst, bin ich totaler Fan solcher Serien und weiß zwar, dass diese ganze Sache mit dem Chatroom surreal ist, aber etwas was sich jedes Kind immer wünscht ;) Die Charakteren waren alle total unterschiedlich und natürlich kann sich jedes Mädchen mit einer der drei Hauptfiguren Emma, Jackie oder Ally identifizieren, was ich finde, diese Serie richtig gut macht. Man kann der Handlung total gut folgen, an Spannung und "Oh nein!"- Momenten fehlt es auch nicht und natürlich darf auch die Liebe in solchen Teenager-Geschichten nicht fehlen ;) Da sie ja nach Singapur, Australien und Deutschland reisen können, verlieben sich natürlich 2 Mädels in jeweils einem anderen Land, auf der anderen Seite der Welt, was natürlich die Spannung ausmacht, aber auch den Teenie-Mädels 3 verschiedene Jungs gibt, wobei sich jede sozusagen einen aussuchen kann.
Man darf von der Serie natürlich nicht zu viel erwarten, da sie eine Teenie/Kinderserie ist. Aber dennoch finde ich sie gut gemacht und dass was ich an der Serie besonders toll finde ist, dass die Serie auf Englisch ist, aber auch deutsche Jungschauspieler auf Englisch mitspielen. Was natürlich absurd ist, dass sich die Emmas deutsche Eltern auf Englisch am Telefon melden, der Kunstlehrer mit seinen Schülern Englisch redet und dass Emmas deutsche Freunde auch mit ihr Englisch reden, aber wenn man davon absieht, dann ist es eine wirklich gut gelungene Teenie-Serie, die mir so gut gefallen hat, dass ich wissen wollte wie es weiter geht. Es gibt nur eine Staffel der Serie, da der Chatroom nur eine gewisse Zeit zur Verfügung steht ;)
Conclusion:
Die Serie ist wirklich sehenswert und wenn ihr solche Jugendserien auch gerne schaut, dann schaut euch diese Serie auf jeden Fall an :) Ihr könnt die deutsche Serie auf youtube anschauen ;) Gebt einfach "Emmas Chatroom" ein, dann findet ihr es sofort :)

All the time I was torn, because I didn’t
know which movie I want to present you or if I just introduce you to a
TV-series or something else on #MovieMonday. These movies I could choose from:
Notting Hill, Eclipse, Pitch Perfect, The Lucky One, Burlesque or The Holiday.
The TV-serie was „A gurls wurld“ (please don’t judge me, because I know that it
is a teenie-series :D)
At least I chose “a gurls wurld“, because
last week I watched the whole season and I don’t usually do this :D I have to
admit that I love Teenie-TV-series like the Sleep over club, a gurls wurld,
Dance Academy, H20, die Pfefferkörner (german serie), Blue Water High or
Schloss Einstein (german TV-serie as well), these are just TV-series I love to
watch and I can watch them over and over again, I don’t know why :) I think
that maybe I like these TV-series so much is because that they remind me of my
childhood and I always wanted to be in a club, to have supernatural powers or
best friends for a lifetime and this is still really great for children.
This is especially great to watch, because
a lot of best friends aren’t what they used to be and this is what I like about
this TV-serie so much.

Summary:
“a gURLs wURLd” is a 26 x ½ hour television series about three young teenage girls – one German, one Singaporean and one Australian – who become friends while studying together at school in Singapore. The girls are united by their bright, lively personalities and by their common interest in contemporary dance – an activity in which they all excel. With the end of the school year however, they suddenly realise that things are about to end as two of them must return to their homes in Germany and Australia. To their delight and amazement though, the girls accidentally discover that their mobile phones and computers can combine to physically transport them via a “chatroom” into each other’s houses. From then on it’s fun, mayhem, adventure (and a little romance) as the three teens spend their days moving freely between Singapore, Germany and Australia. “a gURLs wURLd” is a vibrant, engaging, contemporary comedy-drama aimed at “tweens” throughout the world.
My thoughts:
As you guys
know by now I’m a huge fan of such series and I know this whole thing with the
chatroom is surreal, but it is something you want to have as a child. ;) The
characters were so different and of course, every girl can identify with one of
the 3 main characters Emma, Jackie or Ally, which makes this series so good.
You can keep up with the plot, you have suspense and a few “Oh no!“-moments and
of course love stories are also involved ;)
They can travel
to Singapore, Australia and Germany, so two girls fall in love in a different
country, on the other side of the world, which creates also a lot of suspense,
but this series gives the audience (the teenage girls) 3 different kind of boys
to choose their favorite from.
But don’t
expect too much of these serie, because it’s a teenage/children-TV-series.
Nevertheless I like it very much and what I personally like a lot about them is
that it’s originally in english, but there are young german actors and
actresses in it who have to speak english as well. A thing that is of course, ridiculous
is that Emma’s german parents talk english with each other, answer the phone in
english, the art teacher talks to his students in english as well and also Emma
talks to her german friends in english. But except of these few things, this
TV-series is really good, I really enjoyed watching it and I always wanted to
know how it goes on. There is unfortunately only one season, because the
chatroom is just available for a limited time ;)
Conclusion:
This TV-series is worth seeing and if you like teenage TV-series like I do, then you have to watch this one as well :) You can watch the german series on youtube, but I don't know where to find the english ones, maybe you can look for them on google.

Als Kind habe ich mir immer Tom und Jerry, Scooby Doo etc. angeschaut, weil wir damals Cartoon Network hatten und da liefen diese ganzen Amerikanischen Cartoons eben.
