Ich mag dieses Cover sehr, weil es sehr ansprechend und interessant aussieht. Wenn man das Buch nicht gelesen hat, weiß man aber, dass dieses Bild mit dem Mädchen, welches aus aus der zerbrochenen Glaskugel ausschneidet sich aus etwas befreit hat oder ein Neuanfang für sie beginnt. 

Ich mag dieses Cover besonders gerne, da es grob und kurz den Inhalt des Buches genau wiedergibt und trifft. Auch das rote Kleid, welches das Mädchen trägt ist eine Anspielung auf eine Stelle im Buch, in welcher Cassia ein rotes Kleid trägt. Auch das gesamte Cover, den Hintergrund mit eingeschlossen, spiegelt die Gesellschaft in der Cassia gelebt hat wieder und das sie diese hinter sich lässt und ein neues Leben beginnt.

_Kurzbeschreibung_

In den zerklüfteten Schluchten der Canyons hat Cassia nicht nur ihre große Liebe Ky wiedergefunden – sondern auch die Erhebung, eine Untergrundbewegung, die das System stürzen will. Als sich beide der Erhebung anschließen, müssen sie sich jedoch trennen. Ky wird auf einem Stützpunkt in einer Äußeren Provinz zum Piloten ausgebildet und Cassia in die Hauptstadt beordert. Dort trifft sie auf Xander, der als Funktionär für die Gesellschaft arbeitet. Kann sie sich ihm anvertrauen? 

Als eine tödliche Seuche ausbricht und die gesamte Bevölkerung zu vernichten droht, muss Cassia eine Entscheidung treffen …

_Meine Meinung_

Da ich das erste Buch nicht so toll fand zu Beginn, es mich am Schluss aber doch mitgerissen hat und spannend wurde. Ich mochte auch die Szenen zwischen Cassia und ihrem Großvater sehr, da er zu einem meiner Lieblingscharakteren und spielt eine wichtige Rolle in dieser Trilogie. Das zweite Buch fand ich auch richtig gut, da es mich mehr mit der Handlung und den Interaktionen zwischen den Charakteren überzeugt und mitgerissen hat. Das dritte Buch war aber im Vergleich zu den anderen bei weitem das Beste.

 Zu Beginn muss sich sagen, war ich nicht so ganz in Leselaune, weil es zwar spannend war und interessant und wenn ich mal am lesen war, dann habe ich es auch gerne gelesen, aber es hatte noch nicht das gewisse etwas, dass meine Neugier weckt und das Verlangen unbedingt weiter lesen zu wollen. (Das soll nicht heißen, dass es schlecht war ;) )

Aber nach den ersten Hundert Seiten oder so, wo Ally Condie immer mehr Geheimnisse anschneidet und sie diese erst im Verlauf des Buches lüftet. Und genau das war das was mir zuvor gefehlt hat, denn wie schon in anderen Rezensionen, liebe ich es wenn es irgendein Geheimnis zu lüften gibt und was meine Neugier so sehr weckt, dass ich unbedingt wissen will was das ist und wie es weitergeht! Und dieses Buch hatte es. Es hat unheimlich viel Spaß gemacht dieses Buch zu lesen und es war so interessant Figuren kennenzulernen, die in dem vorherigen Buch erwähnt, aber nicht vorgestellt wurden. Auch manche neuen Charakteren wie Lei Nea oder Oker oder der Pilot sind perfekt und bringen ihre eigene Persönlichkeit und ihr Geheimnis in die Geschichte, sodass es umso spannender und unberechenbarer wird. 

Ally Condie hat sich in diesem Buch wirklich mit ihrem Schreibstil und der Handlung wirklich übertroffen, denn ich konnte mich zum ersten Mal mit Cassia oder anderen Charakteren identifizieren und sie waren echter und greifbarer als vorher. Das hat mir besonders gut gefallen. Auch Oker und Anna, die ihr noch kennenlernen werdet, sind echte und starke Persönlichkeiten und zu meinen Lieblingscharakteren geworden. 

Ich finde auch gut, wie Ally Condie die Beziehung zwischen Cassia und Xander erneut aufgreift und sie vertieft bzw. man nun versteht, wie beide zueinander stehen und was sie über einander denken, weil die verschiedenen Kapitel aus jeweils Xanders, Cassias und Kys Sicht geschrieben sind. 

_Alles in allem ist zu sagen,..._

dass ich dieses Buch nur weiterempfehlen kann und es für alle Leute ist, die gerne Dystopien lesen. Das einzige Problem dabei ist, dass ihr dafür die ersten beiden Bücher lesen müsst bzw. ihr den ersten Teil des ersten Buch lesen müsst, um dieses lesen zu können. Natürlich sage ich nicht, dass das erste Buch total schlecht war, ich meine damit nur, dass ich von manchen Sachen in dem Buch nicht so begeistert war.

I really like this cover, because it's really interesting and appealing. People who haven't read the book yet, nevertheless know, that the girl on the cover breaks free from something or is starting a new life. 
But the real reason why I like this cover is that it gives a "short summary" of the book. And also the red dress the girl is wearing gives a hint to a scene in the book in which Cassia is wearing this red dress. The whole cover, background included, shows the Society in which Cassia lived and that she is leaving all of this behind to start a new life.

_Summary_

He is now a pilot with the Rising. Cassia's back in Central working as a human computer algorithm sorting people into their Matches while secretly trading snippets of forbidden poetry with the Archivists and working to create a forum where people can openly share their art. Xander, Cassia's official Match, is an Officer and Physic in the Society, trusted with making sure that babies receive their immunizations but secretly replacing these pills with others that prevent disease and memory loss. When a plague created by the Society spreads out of control, Ky is asked to help fly cures into the impacted cities. The Rising is using this plague to show that they can save the people. Not everyone is immune to the plague and soon a pandemic breaks out, sickening many, including Ky. Unless Cassia, Xander, and Oker, a 90-year-old doctor who escaped being killed by the Society at age 80, can figure out a cure, the Rising will fail and the Provinces will fall apart.

_My thoughts_

As you know I didn’t like the beginning oft he first book very much, but towards the end it really caught my attention and becomes really thrilling. I also liked the scenes with Cassia and her grandpa, because he became one of my favorite characters and has an important role in this trilogy.

The second book was also really good, because it convinced me more with ist plot and the interactions between the characters. But the third book was in comparison to the others the best by far.

I have to admit that at the beginning of the first book I really wasn’t in a reading mood, because “Reached“ was really thrilling and interesting and I enjoyed reading it, but it didn’t have the “spark“ that I need in a book to make me curious and that catches my attention. (That doesn’t mean that it was bad;))

But after about the first 100 pages or so, where Ally Condie starts to mention some secrets which will be revealed throughout the book. And that was the one thing I was missing, because I love to solve secrets in books and to get to know what’s behind them and I love it when a book makes me curious so I want to know how it ends. And this book had all of that. I loved reading it and it was so cool to be introduced to new characters that where mentioned in the prequel.

But also some new characters like Lei Nea, Oker or the Pilot are perfect and gives the story some personal touch and some more secrets, so that it gets more thrilling and unpredictable.

Ally Condie has outdone herself with this final installment of the Matched-Trilogy with her writing and the plot, because for the first time I could feel and identify with Cassia or other characters and they seem more real and tangible than before. That was something I liked a lot. Also Oker and Anna, who you get to know in this third book, are strong and real personalities and became my favorite characters.

I also like how Ally Condie takes up Cassia and Xander’s relationship again and deepens it. You understand now what they think about each other and how they stand to each other, because the chapters are written from Xander’s, Cassia’s and Ky’s point of view.

_All in all I can say, ..._

that I just can recommend this book and for all of you who likes dystopian books. The only problem (which really isn't a problem) is that you need to read the first book, before reading the second and thrid one. Of course I don't say that "Matched" is a bad book, I just mean, that some things weren't as good as I thought they'd be.
